Hello,

Anyone with is experience with a good proxy program that covers both HTTP and sockets?

Seems a lot of the software is designed for network setups (IE. Put on a server, etc.)
Just looking for something that I can run on my PC alone that sits in the background that I could redirect arbitrary programs like ***, etc.

Thanks in advance,

I am using AnalogX as well, and it works really well. Try it, it's the easiest to set up I've found so far.

Hello all

there is only one proxy client that i would use and it called
analog x

this program will work on all windows versions

but instead of this why not use ICS which is built into windows *8SE
upwards, nothing to configure no clients it simply shares the internet connection with all users on the lan

also it is a mini dhcp server giving all pc **2.*68.0.* adding * to the last octet

this is one thing microsoft has got right and i would recomend it
well done microsoft.

How can one hide their Browser version and most of the PC information using a Proxy Program or a free proxy?
