Hi all,
My friend's computer has been infected virus W*2.Beagle.AQ@mm, 2 infected files: Doriot.exe and Gdqfw.exe

The computer: WinXP, No Antivirus software installed (but I can't install Norton Antivirus into the computer, it says "error", maybe because of the presence of virus)

Please help me to remove the virus, thank you in advance (I had a look at Symantec website, I didn't find any solution for W*2.Beagle.AQ@mm)

OK.
First get from http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/ and use Stinger.exe (McAfee Inc.).
It is simple "shit remover".
Then install AV soft.
Tell me if it works.

you do not need to buy Norton or McAfee, the worse , and most expensive antivirus software that are fighting with your legit software.

First do a free online scan here:
http://www.trendmicro.com/en/home/us/enterprise.htm

..then get TrendMicro PCCillin from them, is an outstanding, efficient and quiet a/v.

Also go to
http://www.pestpatrol.com and get it, will defend against spyware, and trojans.
