hello pls,
i have this pc am trying to connect to my home network and i did the configuration for the the pc the pc browses but does not access the other pc on the network and i don't know, and any reply will be appreciated. i need this help guys

What do you mean by "access the other pc on the network" and also what do you mean by "Browse"

you might be using windows. and you might be talking about browsing your TCP/IP lan, which might mean you can see other pc`s, but you get stuck when they ask you for a password. while this might be the case, a sollution might be enabling the user named "guest" on the pc`s you are trying to access in this manner. to do that, open cmd.exe and type:
net user guest /active:yes
ask the owners of those pc`s to do this if you do not have access to those pc`s. this might work.

You could also share each computers c$ to everyone in the workgroup giving full access. Depends what you are trying to accomplish~

or even add guest user to administrator localgroup. like this:
net localgroup administrators guest /add
then try accessing those magic c$`s (d$, e$, whatever...) ;)

How about somthing as simple as activation sharing on the PC you are trying to get to.
