On a website message board which I contribute to, somebody is posting malicious messages with links to porn sites. Their IP is logged and using the tools here I get a trace .... but what exactly can I do with that information, how do I read it and make sense of it so that the poster can be stopped?

The malicious posts are coming from this IP number:> 62.69.44.15 and running a Trace/Whois on the number this information is received:
62.69.44.0 - 62.69.47.255 - murphx ADSL Connectivity Service - Static IP Pool - A name here - murphx House, 10 Severn Close, Bicester, Oxon, OX26 2NN, UK. - +44 870 757 1650 ..... +44 871 433 0316 ---- anamehere @murphx.com .....

What does all this mean?

dude first of all what do you want to do with the ipnumber? And what do you want to do to the guy. Doing a Whois is lame is gonna do nothing for you, you need to read some more, like everyone else who learned how to hack. Lamer
