Here is a site that might help IP Logging (http://php.resourceindex.com/Complete_Scripts/Logging_Accesses_and_Statistics/index_0*.html). I use this (http://php.eric*207.com/ezlog/) for my site. It can ban IP's, log a users host and IP, among many other things. I hope this helped you out, let me know.
