Convert*WMV to MOV

I am new to Macs, and definitely not computer savvy when it comes to formatting and such.

I have a wmv file (video and audio) that I'm trying to convert wmv to mov, but I have no idea how to. I dragged the file to the converter and it identifies it as a asf file (??).but I have no idea what that is. Love to anyone who can solve the problem!

When that software identifies .WMV format file as .ASF file software may have got corrupted.This is the reason why it is showing different format. If you are looking to convert that file into MOV format there are hundreds of software available for converting file from one format to another is not a big task for this you should not be savvy with computer, Even you can do this if you have small knowledge of computer.
