Yes, most good email services have virus scanners, which BLOCK downloading of any detected files. And your ip will be in the header, so you should use something like TOR to get around this. Anyway, if you send him a trojan, any trojan will be detected, so he will not be able to run it. Unless he has NO antivirus running. Find yourself a good email spoofer, I would have helped you to find one, but you said you wanted to send a trojan, and I don't help n00bs send trojans.

you can use telnet to send a spoofed email, including spoofing the IP in the headers. I have a tutorial on it here:

http://www.informationleak.net/anonemail.txt

as far as trojans are concerned, like everyone said, many email providers scan.

a similar question came up in the informationleak forums recently:
http://ilforums.thedarksun.org/viewtopic.php?t=850

here are some tidbits you find useful:
Your best bet is to bundle it with something else or even have an installer execute from the browser depending on their set up. Hell, just get an autoinstall and configure going burn it to a CD with an autorun inf and mail them an image that they can burn.

What it comes down to is knowledge, patience, creativity and a little luck. Same as always.

hope that helps.
enjoy.

anyway you look at it...sending a trojan via email is just silly.

Id go further into it, but guessing by that there is an average of *0 users that are unregistered are just a bunch of people (or kids) browsing with google to find quick fixes to attack other people just because its easy to do it with a computer instead of doing it face to face...

since getting hit in the mouth with a fist hurts more then a trojan. :/
