Basically, breaking WEP is about collecting between 500,000 and 1,000,000 packets and then using a special tool that exploits the WEP weakness. There is a good series of articles about this technology here:

To collect WEP packets under Windows XP, you need a wireless sniffer (http://www.tamos.com/products/commwifi/).

but then how would u collect the packets? do u mean by the sniffer?....:confused:
