Just search for exploits from some site that archives recent mailing list posts, if there are any available, it will have been posted in a vulnerability mailing list.

Just reading that tutorial isn't going to get you anywhere alone, you need to search for specific exploits in vbulletin (I assume that's what you mean by vb) and use them, they don't necessarily have to be sql injections, but they usually are with stuff like forums. So that tutorial will help, but you need an exploit first, you aren't going to find any yourself like that tutorial s***ests, you only will find them yourself in old, unpatched software.
