A backdoor in WMP

all the time wen i was in my comuter class the teacher kept shouting that DONT GO INTO THE WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER and ppl were like y? and hes like CUZ ITS A BACKDOOR TO THE INTERNET. can anyone tell me or explain wat he means? :confused:

Im guessing he means you can use WMP to access the net, like through guides or something.

If thats the case, you can probably do it through a million other programs you have access to as well, like office or whatever.

no i m preety sure thats not wat he means. is it easy to send viruses or torojan wen u on WMP internet then the regular one? :confused:
