Cain is for decrypting local passwords & sniffing the network. From the original poster's question, it is hard to figure out what he wants; the words, "brute force password crackers" can mean a lot of things. There are brute forcers for html login forms and basic authentication, and there are programs that use brute force to locally crack passwords. The thread starter needs to define which of these he wants information on, remote login password brute forcing (web pages, ftp, etc), or local cracking of passwords.
