i just installed a new hard drive. i use unsecure linksys wireless to surf.

please recommend a good firewall for my computer system and my router. m x boyfriend has a weird friend who likes to "follow" me after i've visited his website. apparently, he also has gotten into my computer from his - somehow. i don't know how.

First you should enable the firewall and security on your router. WEP encryption is ok but wpa is better. Google for how to do it or go to the router makers website.
For a firewall use zone alarm or comodo, both have free versions.
Also do a free online virus scan at 2 different sites to find any bad stuff on your computer.

No. This is totally irrelevant to the forum and the topic, and for the thousandth time, we do not conduct hacking services. Even if we did, none of us would have any reason to fulfil a random request.

Maybe if I emailed that address with a link to this thread, we would stop getting these idiotic requests. I'm not gonna do something that harsh though, but I am going to ban you.
