If they don't log who's using the computer, and you use firefox portable + tor and privoxy (on your usb), can you be anonymous? Maybe use a virtual key***rd so nothing is typed on the key***rd. I realize there's no such thing as being *00% anonymous.

Or would you be more anonymous using your own laptop with an open-wifi, and spoofing mac address? Along with tor, privoxy, disabling referers, javascript, etc..?

If somebody wanted to send a keylogger to somebody which method would be preferred to be anonymous?

People have mentioned if you use your own laptop that it has to be new.

Somebody was saying that if you spoof your mac address that there are ways to de-scramble it and find your real mac address?

I was thinking even if they descramble your mac address and find out the owner of the computer that doesn't really mean anything since, a person could have sold their computer or bought a used computer?

What's the reason to having to use a new laptop? How's that any different than using a used laptop? It's the location that's the most important thing and using a chain proxy such as tor, correct?

What if you did a DoD format on your laptop and used the gutman (spelling?) method before using the laptop to send a keylogger, is that the same as having a new laptop?

Which method sounds more anonymous, internet cafe or using a laptop you've used from an open wifi?

Thanks

uh, unless you are planning a major crime, why worry about being traced?
