Computer is patched up running XP Pro SP3. The app is on our network and runs off a shortcut mapped to the exe on one of the network drives. Its a library/booksearch program

I have a computer on my network we want to run a program at startup but the user cannot exit the program, get to the start menu, or see the local drive, optical drives, or floppy drives how will i go about this?

I need to disable Alt+F4, CTRL+ALT+DEL, min, max, and close on the window
the drives listed
All USB ports
and the start menu
any ideas?

Pretty sure its possible to do some by flashing the bios but this a machine i would rather not do it that way. dont know if i can do it through registry or GPO just a noob on GPO

Where I work, I found that I could get out of the locked full screen mode on the till by right-clicking and selecting "view image" (part of it was web-based), then ok-ing an error message. The computer in question processed >£1000 per day.

A lot of "kiosk mode" applications are vulnerable like this, considering how large Windows is and how hard it is to find every exploitable feature without losing functionality.

In other words, I can't help you :P.
