Hi Fever
Havent used Sympa for awhile .but downloaded the new one and tried a test
Keep getting message --Received packet too small Less than4bytes28--when trying to connect to smtp server
This is whether i try to use anon or non anon
Also seems unable to find smtp server and is frozen there
Any ideas about what has happened

Hi
*st you can download v2.040, it has the NEW feature to send Emails to SMS (if you have this service in your area).

As for the error message that you got, this is a typical error when your DNS is Not or (not well) configured.

Click on 'DNS Server setup' a new box will open, please follow the instruction in order to configure your DNS.

Thank You FeVer
I had opened it or downloaded it, in LAN mode and this must have affected my settings
Everything back to normal now thanks
Is SMS text messaging to mobile phones etc?

Yes, 'SMS sender mode' is to send SMS to mobile phones via Email (if this feature is available in your area/country)

Regardless of the size of your message in terms of Characters, you will still be able to send the entire message despite the restriction of *28 character per SMS message.

(provided that the receiver phone box message is not full!)
