I have also started to have this problem. My problem also started on saturday. I have been scoping all the anti-virus sites, all the microsoft support sites and even microsoft themselfs can not help me. What I have come to found out is that svchost is a program that allows dll files to run as programs providing advanced services. Please someone help. I think its a virus but I have scanned my machine with 2 different anti-virus systems and I have gone through anti-spams and adware removers and still nothing.

Windows Media Player uses Internet Explorer to display web content, regardless of the default browser...it's a hard-coded feature. Thus, you have to troubleshoot Internet Explorer to resolve the issue.
