What am I doing wrong with pro rat ?

Hi I got Pro Rat speical edtion i creatied a server. I put the ip router down for the DNS and a yahoo hotmail then i click create i giv it to my friend just for a test he clicks it and arnt i suppose to get an email from pro rat the ip i didnt get anything so i just asked for it but still it didnt work could you please tell me what im doing wrong?

first of all you cant use reverse connection if you are behind a router unless you forward the neccessary ports,and if your friend is behind a router,you cant use direct connection
