If I use a proxy and Nettools says "Proxy server detected" or Nettools says "Proxy server not detected" which response do I want. I could see it both ways. If the latter, it might mean I am so proxied even Nettools can't see me. If the former, then it might mean, "Hey, I can see you!"

As long as your real ip doesn't show
then I'm not sure it matters.
Personally I don't have anything to
hide but just feel better knowing that
"Doubleclick" and others would have a
hard time profiling me. I have a couple
proxies that are what I call "stealth".
Proxy not detected. But I save them
for in case I have a need. I really
don't mind that a site can determine I
am using a proxy as long as they don't
know who I am.
