I've been using proxies for some time and had no problems until this past few days.
I enter a proxy in Netscape (4.7)and then check and it does not show my real IP.
I use the same proxy in IE (5.5) and my real address shows.
I have Java turned off in both and HTTP *.* turned off in IE.
It's not just a cache address showing - I used more than one checker.
Unfortunately I have to use IE for some connections but wat to remain anonymous.
What am I missing? (use proxy *is* ticked g)
Any help would be appreciated.
