Basically, breaking WEP is about collecting between 500,000 and *,000,000 packets and then using a special tool that exploits the WEP weakness. There is a good series of articles about this technology here:

To collect WEP packets under Windows XP, you need a [URL="http://www.tamos.com/products/commwifi/"]wireless sniffer[/URL].
but then how would u collect the packets? do u mean by the sniffer?....:confused:
