Hi dude.
Simply stated, a proxy is another person's computer. You do all your Internet activity from his computer, *by proxy,* instead of your own. That way all your ISP and the sites you visit see is his computer, not yours.
Using a proxy is the way of going places anonymously--provided the proxy itself is anonymous (not all are).
Check out this site to get proxies (and read the posts on this forum too!).
