What if some one hacked in my email account?

Hi, I'm new at this site and I hope some of you can be patient with me.

*) Can any one advice if there is a way to find out if some one has hacked in to your yahoo email account and if so how can I find out?

    2) I think I have know who hacked me but I can't confront them because I don't associated with them anymore and I don't live in that state.

*) I know this might be wrong to do but, this people are making my life hell and I want to know if I can find out anything based on their email (since I have it) to bring up to court for my protection.

    Please advice,

    BHP

Chances are you were either phished, or have a trojan horse or keylogger on your computer. If you have malware on your computer, your first priority would be to remove it. Free online virus scanners are TrendMicro and BitDefender. Start there. A program like Key Scrambler works well to thwart keyloggers.

    Thank you Gordo,

I crossed this book at micro-center its called Hack or Hacker its one of those books for dummies. Will I find some answers there too?
Will I trace back who hacked me with those programs you referred me to?

you could use a program like wireshark to sniff your network traffic. You could then find the email/ftp username and password where the liogs are sent, if it is a keylogger. But I doubt you could find out who actually did it.
