    restart every 20 minutes...

    Hi there!

I am not sure where to post this,so I start trying here...

My problem is,after 20 minutes I have to restart my pc again because it (?) dont open links anymore from my outlook so I can't open another page. When I am already on a page,it just freezes and nothing works anymore until I restart. Its about every 20 minutes and its very annoying.Somebody told me I have a virus but my virusscanner (norton) doesn't detect it,I run hitmanpro (adaware, spybot, spyblaster and some other programs I forgot by now) and spydoctor.
Can somebody help me please? If possible in short terms,I am dutch AND blond.

    Thanks,
    Very Blond

I have a few Uncles that live in Holand actually, Robin and Ryan Barras. Ring a bell?

Anyways, how are you running your norton and anti virus programs? Are they fully updated and are you running them in safe mode? If not, try that and let me know how things go~

I am very sorry for making the mistake to call myself "blond".
I am not looking for chit-chat,only looking for an answer to my problem with my p.c.
I only called myself "blond" because I dont know a thing about computers.
Sooooo....... I am NOT giving my emailadress and I am NOT looking for new contacts.

Sometimes heat can cause these problems. Open your computer box and blow out any cat ****, dust, or smutz with some compressed air particularly the intakes and the little radiator around the CPU and fan. Is the fan working or is it burnt out? Don't touch anything inside unless you are grounded. If this doesn't work it may be that your OS is fatigued. You might upgrade to XP or reload the OS from the disc. If this doesn't work you may have spyware that is paralysing your browser. Get Spybot Search and Destroy. This is one of thew few that are actually of value and not spyware in disguise. The rest are knockoffs and worthless. Best of luck. Kenorri

Possibly with all the programs running in the background you are having an extreme draw on the memory. How much ram do you have? What os do you have? Could also be a memory leak from an older version of MS Explorer. My advise is to dump all active programs you don't really need and update everything else. Good luck

Well if you are restarting that often then I would say to see if you're infected. That would be me, though.

You can download HijackThis! version *.** from majorgeeks.com and post your log here, we can see whether or not infection is your main issue.

You mentioned you ran many removal programs but not how much if any malware found. you can go to pandasoftware.com and do the online scan and let it remove what it finds.

If you decide to manually remove programs make sure you google the exe's to find out what you are actually removing.
