    Chat rooms (Forums)

    Hiya everyone

I am not sure if this can be done. But does anyone know if there is a way of going into a chat room without them knowing it is you? They can check your ip no when you go in and boot you lol. I don't want to cause problems in the chat rooms (forums) I just don't want them to know it is me. Any ideas?

    Use a proxy.

Yes there are two ways. first of all you can find a proxy or you can renew your ip address. To reney your ip address open ms-dos or comand prompt and type ipconfig renew.

Like Carlo said, your best bet would be to use an anonomous proxy server.

If your on a LAN ipconfig /renew will not work because the outside web server is seeing the IP of your network and not your local computer.
