Basically theres two things I want to be able to do at school that I can't.

*. Use command prompt.

2. Leave stuff on the hard drive of the actual computer.

Well basically command prompt was disabled by the administrator...

any possible way of removing the restriction ?

sorry I don't have more info but I'm not at school right now and I don't have a good memory...

More importantly to me however is that ability to actually put stuff on the hard drive of the computer I actually go onto. You're not actually supposed to be able to access the C: drive, but we use a VB program to view the files on the drive and then make batch files from it. The guy who made the program said he could have made it copy through VB but was having some sort of issue with it... eh... I haven't done VB in a while and he couldn't be bothered fixing it so its just a slight inconvenience.

Anyway. I have actually put stuff on the c: drive. Like little notes on the desktop to test it out.

This stuff will stay if I log out and back in. But whenever I turn off the computer it basically resets the c: drive. Any files I put in are gone and any files I screwed around with are written over and become the original again.

I'm assuming its doing this through the network...?

if I'm right is there anyway to block it on startup so I can make use of the c: drive and make life interesting for anyone else that may use my computer ?
