IP Mask

Im wondering what I can do to block or mask my ip address from prying eyes. I just need a jolt in the right direction basically. Also if i were to mask my ip or whatever. would my P2P clients still work "shrugs".
anyway the reading is great

If you are behind a router or a modem that has NAT capabilities, most wont be able to see your IP,that isnt so true while surfing the Internet as you would leave behind valuable information while surfing, like your IP,ISP,Browser and OS you are using,to prevent this from happening you would have to surf thru a High Anonymous Proxy, possibly even daisey chaining that connection,if you arent to experianced with this I recommend this site http://anonymouse.org/anonwww.html as it will protect your personal information while surfing on the NET.
