Which antivirus?

I am looking for an antivirus for Windows XP because I am tired of all that shit that tries to infect my PC. Which one is better or should I pick something entirely different?

Kaspersky AntiVirus Personal in my personal opinion is a much better AV solution then McAfee,I also recommend you look into possibly trying NOD*2 as it is one of my favorites.McAfee I would stay far away from.

McAfee is a great program for Virus Scanning, Spyware, etc. Keep it updated and you will have no problems. If you combine Microsoft spyware beta* with McAfee you should be set.
