    Net Send

    during my CCNA class. Me and my friend like to play around with net send in ms-dos but on some computer the messenger is disable and i try to disable it in admin tool in control panel but when i try to disable the messengner file is said access denied. is there another way to disable the messenger? getting to command and cmd is no problem. the computer window is nt or 2000. and all the server is on one lan.

    easy, you either have to run "net stop messaging" on the target computer or place it in the target users logon script. If you don't have physical access to the taget computer then you can run a batch file containing the "net stop messaging" code with the psexec program found at sysinternals.com . you can either download the enitre pack (pstools v2.2) or the individual program. Either way it is a very good download.
