    Networking.

    Hey guys.

I dunno how to do this or any software that does this.

What i wanna do is get my other comp to run through my computer then through my router and how to the WWW.

So say if i wanna completely shutdown there connection with the internet i can.
And so i can see whats in there packets and going out to the web.

both computers are wireless computers to. WinXP.

Both computers are connected to the same router. Duh

Is this possible? And how can this be done?

And yes i did search google and turned up nothing.

    Thanx guys

I'm not quite following what you're trying to say here. Is the computer running through your computer and then your computer is running to the router?
Or are both computers connected to the router?

If the computer has a direct connection to the router then you can't channel all traffic through the primary computer.
You could try setting up internet connection sharing between the two computers and only have a direct connection to the router with the primary machine (would have to use a cable)
You may be able to restrict the secondary computers internet access via your router settings, check the documentation for your router.

If you're looking to monitor all traffic on your network try these search terms:

    log all network traffic
    packet sniffer
    network monitoring tools

There are alot of network tools out there that will assist with this objective

You could also consider a third machine set up as a hardware firewall (many Linux distros will work as firewalls and already have network monitoring tools included. so your network would be:
    Modem->Firewall machine->router->networked computers

Hope this gives you a starting place.
