    command prompt

    hey guys im pretty new at this. i just started to look up ips and stuff like that. well my question whenever i try and access command promt its like an error or something saying that this system file is not suitible for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications. i dont get it. my friend access's it and it works fine. any help on this would be helpful.

    To access the command prompt, you just need to go to start - run then type cmd, then it will bring up a command prompt. We need more information about your problem, by "system file" dont you mean file system?

    oh oright i though it was just command but it was cmd thanks for the help

    if u dont se the icon just go to start>run> and type in cmd

    cmd

    It can be command or cmd, command is the older version I think.
