That is actually possible, all you have to find a program that will bind/attach the trojan server to any other file, then they will both be run. Of course, all trojans you find on the internet will be detected, so as usual this will only work on someone without AV. This will NOT work with an image or video, there is no way to have a hidden trojan in a picture or video file, they are not executed, so it's impossible. You could attach an image to a trojan server, but it would still end with .exe, because it has to be an executable, there is no way to include trojans in images like .JPG or .GIF. People do not trust random .exe files they are given, but do trust images with proper image file extensions, so it is not possible to attach a trojan to an image, but it is possible to attach to an executable (.exe) file. There are hundreds of programs that will bind two files together, just google for it.

    Need Info or Hired Hacker

I had my laptop stolen last month. I had a piece of software which sends me the IP address of when it logs in.

I have found out that the laptop has logged in on the same IP several times over the past couple of weeks. Can someone assist me in scanning the IP and/or logging in. It is a tablet XP PC and I do know the directory structure and all the programs that are on it. Including the ones that log in and do automatic updates.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

You cant trace the IP to an adderss unless you work for an ISP, so its pretty much gone.

Actually just call the police, they can do it.
