Keyloggers or other malware can only be run by executing code. Image files and video files do not execute code, they just contain data to be interpreted by the image viewer or video player. So this means, malware can NOT be run from within an image, video, or other non executable file. There are many executable file types that are used on the windows OS, such as .exe, .scr, .pif. The only way you can run a program is by having one of those file extensions, if the file is .jpg, .gif, .png, .avi, or any other image or video file type, then it will not do anything. *But*, there are a few ways we CAN run code from a non executable file type, such as .jpg. This would be done through exploits, like the wmf exploit, which allows code to be executed through a .wmf file, a common image format. But exploits are uncommon and last for a very limited amount of time, so to answer your question, no, keyloggers can not be run through image or video files.

A new Spytector version has been released, get it from [url]www.spytector.com[/url] , it's working very good on Vista.

Related to the previous posted links (Tibia blabla), please be wary when downloading from unknown websites (or files uploaded on speedyshare.com, rapidshare.com etc.). Usually these files are infected. If you need keyloggers or RATS, download them from well established websites like [url]www.spytector.com[/url] , [url]www.blazingtools.com[/url] , [url]www.radmin.com[/url]

I am using Ardamax (full version) it's relativly simple to use and understand but there are still a couple a gray areas . Considering I'm still pretty new to this and most of the software discussed on these forums, it would be helpful if someone explained the set up..... i.e. Send To: (which I know is myself) Send From: (which I'm not quite clear one) SMTP Host/ user and pass (In which case I don't understand at all). If someone would be kindly enough to help me it would be greatly appreciated any and all info would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

very simple go thru the settings,make sure you click all features to make it invissible to task manager ect.
Like you said,where is says send to: type your email (try to use gmail) and click find smtp.
Where it says from: type like [email]victim.name@gotcha.net[/email]
Now,once you have the keylogger server ready to your needs,make sure you know where are you saving it.
Followingstep is making it undetectable ,for that you'll need a file crypter (encrypter) google one.
Next step,use a file joiner and join the server (victim.name.exe to another file)
ex. .jpg,gif,mpeg ect. and choose a "icon" .
Now send it in a .zip or .rar,otherwise the person will see it has the .exe extension.
