Ok, my kids recieved an email with an attachment on it from their father (my ex husband). The title to the attachment was "dadspicsofsouthdakota" they opened it without a second thought and it crashed the computer.
Upon restart, there was a small window in the middle of my desktop that was blank and the only way to get rid of it was to click "OK" at the bottom of it or click the "X". It came up a few times then quit.
Next thing I know, my email is wiped out, my bank account was accessed, and my readnotify.com account was accessed and all tracked emails I used on emails I sent my ex husband were deleted.
I right clicked on the attachment he sent and it is an .exe file.

If you don't run antivirus and firewall software, then you probably deserve a malware infection. You may think that sounds unfair, but if you use the internet without running protection, it's not like you MIGHT get malware (but only if you visit malicious sites); a malware infection is INEVITABLE when not running antivirus and firewall software, and it only takes a matter of days before your computer is infected with malicious crap. Especially when running unknown executables, AND probably not having any protection - that's just like asking all the crackers in the world, "please infect and damage my computer.

But getting back to the point, I can't know what happened simply from your description, but I suggest you go get yourself some antivirus, antispyware, antiadware, and firewall software, install them, and do a full scan whenever possible. Your computer is probably still being remotely accessed right now, from what you said.

If you're really paranoid, then you could reformat your computer with a fresh install of windows - some malware use rootkits that are incredibly hard to remove and detect.

Syntaxmaster and some others say zonealarm is a crappy piece of firewall software, but in the time I have to spend on windows, it has protected me fully. Also, antivir is not widely used, but I use it, and it has never failed, apart from the time it detected NMAP as a password stealing trojan for BANKING WEBSITES! Lol. If you got any questions on removing all that crap you got on your computer, post them here. Also, if you got money stolen through this malware, remember that banks will usually have to pay the bill for the theft, not you. But I advise you to now go and change EVERY internet password you use.

I think the savi keylogger is the best. Ofc it not published yet.. But its so small by size and very good keylogger

Ok i am just starting to learn C++ programming and a little bit of hacking. I thought it was pretty much impossible to use any sort of program or anything to hack a site such as runescape. IF anyone could back me up on this that would be great cuz some people say "oh use this program" but i tend not to believe them. If there is such a thing i would be very interested in it but i doubt it any help would be great.

logger use a keygen i had the trial version of photoshop then i used a keygen and now i got the full version for photoshop without paying any $$. But becareful the websites you go to have lots of virues so your taking a risk when you enter there sites. but there downloads are clean.

I have the spytector keylogger. I would like to control a pc in another country. I have sent the keylogger by email as an attachment. I know that it has been opened but it is not working! It is not sending me any logs. What I am doing wrong? The spytector works perfectly in mine!
