Is it possible to Keylog someone through thier IP so that they do not have to download anything, not even knowing they've been keylogged? If so, please explain how and what the best keylogged/other software to use is.

No, it is not possible. The majority of home users use firewalls and routers, making it impossible to exploit the services and server programs they run. In any case, it is a stupid idea, and if you continue to try to research it, you are wasting your time.Originally Posted by Unseen
You people think an IP address is like some magic number which allows you to hack somebody's computer. How are you supposed to capture keystrokes from just knowing somebody's IP addres? You are not connected to them in any way, and there is such a thing as security. It's like saying that by knowing somebody's postal address, you can just instantly read all their mail.

If you take something in the right perspective, it can be. Jesus dude, get a tampon and a midol.Originally Posted by mike*0*
you can do it if the target installs some sort of software.... however at that point you could just take full control of the machine.
.. and yeah, an IP is just an addressing *2 bit # in 4 octets.. that is until IPv6.

Well, coudn't you connect to shared folders on the person's computer, and install a 'logger in there?
You can read and write to shared folders, but you can't automatically execute anything on their computer. All you can do is place files there and hope they run them.Originally Posted by Moonbat

yeah you cant just get someones web ip and do whatever you want.
the only way you can do that is if you got on their home network...
with something like a virtual lan.
so that would take some social engineering to get someone to install hamachi.
check it out here:

but if you got a vpn set up it shouldnt be hard.

oh and check out a program called PuTTy with OpenSSH
GREAT for ssh tunneling to remote computers.

nothing is impossible. (4 hackers...)
To get her to do this? Well, a little "social engineering" skills (ie., trickery) might be in order. Being as you actually know, you should be able to figure out what might work on her far better than I ever could, but maybe you could invite her over to hang or watch a movie, and when she gets there, tell her you just got off the phone with a buddy who heard that someone wrote something especially "nasty" about her on her wall?
