I used 208.2.25*.6:80 and when I check if it was anonymous from allnettools I got this.

Proxy server not detected

Remote address 208.2.25*.6 (cache*000.cacheflow.com)
Remote host 208.2.25*.6 (cache*000.cacheflow.com)

I don't see my IP so I think it is anonymous but just wanted to ask to make sure

Thanks

All-net Tools Proxy checker isn't a true checker. Go to:

http://www.proxys4all.com/

They've got true checkers.

Would you mind explaining to me what "true" and "untrue" checkers are and what exactly the difference is?

proxys4all?

Good luck finding a proxy check link on that site that even works. They haven't updated those links in ages and most of 'em are dead.

Cool kewl one. thanks

all it showed was my proxy's IP, my OS and that I came from here. Pretty good IMHO yet the site said "*" so-so." Better than so-so if ya ask me.

Lightbulb Sheesh!

Even coming in thru the Anonymizer they gave it only a so-so "*."

What does it take to rate with this judge?

What does it take to rate with this judge?
I get: AnonyLevel : 5?
So, what does *, 5? mean?

Question They didn't give a comment with 5?

If * is "so-so" what is the comment with *? or 5?

Without a comment or scale of some sort how are we to know if higher or lower is better??

Question No so so, good, etc.

This is part of what I got (xed out my deep, dark secrets):

REMOTE_HOST
Result
Via a Proxy
Comment
REMOTE_HOST includes proxy server word "cache.****x.xxx".

HTTP Env. Value
Result
Via a Proxy
Comment
Proxy servers valuable is detected.

AnonyLevel : 5?
Spill your REMOTE_HOST? (xxx.xxx.xx.xxx)

My IP was not revealed.

As I understand it * is completly anonymous. 2 and * are not. I never heard of 5 but I guess it's better than *

Talking

How can * be anonymous in their rating system when they comment that * is "so-so," which is another way of saying "fair." The scale would be bad-->fair-->good.

Is there a way of hiding your OS from env checkers? Even with javascript disabled I can't seem to keep my OS a secret. I use a Mac btw :-)

Cool

The Proxomitron can fake these variables.
Forwarded:
Referrer: (hide where you've been)
User Agent: (OS) (You can make up one.)
X-Forwarded For: (Last page visited)
Cookie: (Fake a cookie)

Also block web-bugs,test proxy's and many other useful things. I never surf
without it.
