Stealing IP addresses
Hi, I'm new to this forum and would like to know if it's possible for someone to "steal" the IP addy of another person in order to post on a forum using the other person's IP addy? Thank you for your responses.

First let me clarify that I do not want to do what I have asked the forum, but that I suspect someone else has been doing that elsewhere and wish to know if it's at all possible. Thanks again.

a backdoor/trojan horse will allow someone to use your computer that way. Also, if you have a wireless router another comp connecting through it would have the same ip address.
