    remote admin GUI

    Warning: *********ly challenged user query...

How can I find and get rid of a remote admin GUI If I suspect one has been installed on my machine?

If it's a "legitimate" program a Trojan Detector or AntiVirus program may or may not detect it.

Update your AV program and do a full scan.

Download TrojanHunter and the current definitions and scan with it. It has a *0 free trial period:

Download SpyBot Search & Destroy, update it and check with it. It picks up and removes several KeyLoggers and is freeware so it's worth a try:

If all else fails reformat just to be sure you're not compromised.

may want to get a firewall like zone alarm - it tells you what is trying to get out. also, run from the dos prompt - netstat -an
this will tell you what ports are open. search google for
"port ####" (where #### are the ports you find open) and see what trojans hide on those ports and get a trojan remover for that specify trojan and it should tell you if you are not infected or if you are.

    hope this helps.
