Me and a few friends have been creating an English patch for a game and it seems we have run into a problem. Some of the files that we need are missing from the directories. We believe that these files are incoming packets in and out of the game. They are labeled in the files as .GBF files. What we would like to do if at all posible is retrieve these packets read them save them in other directories and link the existing binary files to them instead of the incoming packets. What kinds of tips can you guys give out for this one. Maybe we are missing something and not seeing it but a lot of imgame mechanics such as monster names npc names Weapon stats are in these files.
