    extracting exe file contents

Hope I am in the right forum, as my search didnt come up with much...

I have an .exe file (a slide show of photographs) which I would like to extract the pictures from, so that I can edit them a bit with photoshop, as I do not have access to the original files. I cannot, however, find a way to explore the contents of the exe file so that the images can be copied to my hard drive.

I have tried ReShacker and PE explorer, which are not able to let me copy files from this "compressed" exe file. Anyone know how to get a hold of these pictures or is this impossible? Thanks.

It would probably be easier to simply use the printscreen button to take a screenshot, then import the specific area of the screenshot (the image) into Photoshop.

I would recommend a resource hacker, but you've already tried that.
