No. There is no other way that I know of.

There's been a ton of threads on this already. Web applications don't just spit out users' information (such as IP address) directly -- that would be a security risk, or at least an annoyance for users.
You can only view this sort of info if you have the sufficient privileges to do so. In the case of a forum, you'd need to be a mod or admin.
You can obtain users' IP addresses indirectly (an example being posting a link to an IP-logging script), but again, this has been talked about before and if you search, I'm sure you'll find some discussion on this.
