Lightbulb Clusters

I will disappear from the forums once more to further my learning on the subject of Clusters. Anyone interested in computing billions of floating-point operations per second for the low cost of only a few thousand dollars should read this article: Microwulf Supercomputer. I am currently building my mini-supercomputer (nothing special, just high end parts) and will post the tutorial of the build here when it's complete. I'm waiting on my 2GB of ****Mhz DDR* to arrive before I start the build.

What are you planning to do once you build this supercomputer? Crack hashes? Play games? Run Vista at normal speeds?

Anyways, it sucks that you're gonna go away from the forums again, when do you plan on coming back? But this task of yours seems cool enough, and $*000+ ain't gonna come from forum-surfing.

A few thousand dollars? That's enough to build a high-end gaming rig, but no supercomputer.
