    Antivirus Programs: Personal Opinions

    New to Forum. Hey.

So I'm running Norton Antivirus (with Internet Security and Firewall). I just want to know, from a general audience? Is it any good? I don't claim to be a super computer genius but I am moderately intelligent and understand most things computer-related, even so, personally, I have no idea whether Norton is any good or whether I should scrap it and go for one of the free "fantastically" reviewed Antivirus programs such as Avast or AVG.

    Whats the general consensus?

I would keep norton internet security before using a free virus scanner.
I prefer kaspersky internet security. The pro-active defense stops all trojans and keyloggers that I know of.

Well, I don't really use AV. With VirusTotal, some basic computer safety tips, and due judgement, I can be sure I'm not infected. I do have TrendMicro thought, but I rarely have it running.
