Google Chrome

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Chrome

It's a browser being made by Google. I might try it soon, but due to some 'torrential' downpours, I can't download very fast now.

So someone try it out and tell me what it's like. I'm dying to know!

I've installed it on the first day...was soo excited but my excitement went down pretty much instantly when I found out that it doesn't have Google Toolbar...as a result of that I am not using it now..will use it when the release the toolbar pl***in...

but anyway, there's no doubt that Chrome will kill Firefox. IE is dead anyway. Btw, was reading an interesting article on Microsofts next move on the mobile market...you might be interested to read...really nice article indeed...

Chrome is the best browser, when i first downloaded it, my internet was running at a lighting speed, i even checked my speed
http://www.ip-details.com/internet-speed-test/
and it was normal too, hitherto i used firefox which chocked my browsing capabilities .
But the only one advantage with firefox is that it has more add ons, which makes things much easier

Google Chrome is a web browser, like Internet Explorer. It's currently still in its early stages of life, so there are still bugs (such as crashing allot on certain PC's). It's a very simple browser, so if you want any level of customization go for something like Firefox. Google Chrome may be slightly faster than Firefox at some tasks, but I would say Firefox is the best all-round, everyday, browser.

It's in beta. You can download it online, although it's not much to look at. You'll need a steady Internet connection to even log in. If you want to test-run Chrome OS without that hassle, just try the Chrome browser -- it's basically the same thing, so just imagine using it without anything else.

Oh, and Chrome OS is based on Linux, so it's not too much of a total rewrite.

Google Chrome Frame is an early-stage open source plug-in that seamlessly brings Google Chrome's open web technologies and speedy JavaScript engine to Internet Explorer. With Google Chrome Frame, you can:

* Start using open web technologies - like the HTML5 canvas tag - right away, even technologies that aren't yet supported in Internet Explorer 6, 7, or 8.
* Take advantage of JavaScript performance improvements to make your apps faster and more responsive.

It' an optimized version of a browser. All the junk has been removed. It uses plug in so everyone can make it into the browser they want, not one forced on them.

If you're using Internet Explorer, using a a broken condom on an AIDS ridden hooker is safer, so yes, Chrome is safe.

I love the new browser and I think it's going to kill IE. It's just a better browser all together - and super fast. My favorite things about it is that it runs Javascript code much faster and that makes Google docs so much better!

Google Chrome (web browser) has just hit the world. Google Chrome backup is a small tool to create, backup, restore and manage Google Chrome profiles. The profile holds personal data like history, bookmarks, etc. Everything is done with one click. Latest version also supports Chromium, which modified version of Google Chrome, for portable use.

I've tried out Google Chrome and like it for it's speed. I couldn't really use it because it didn't have the plugins I need that I had on Firefox. But I will say to keep checking back because they are adding plugins every day for Chrome. After seeing how fast Chrome was, I kind of hate the speed of Firefox now. I just didn't realize how slow Firefox was until I tried Chrome.
