Annoying virus I can't get rid of.

Okay so recently I got a virus that literlly f*ed my computer up. I can't access my hardrive what so ever. Right next to the time on my computer it says VIRUS ALERT! I've tried these programs with no luck of getting rid of the bastard. AD-Aware Free Edition, AVG Antivirus- Free Edition, and Spyware Doctor. Anyone help me out?

Try booting in safe mode and running the security scanners in safe mode. I would also clean out the temporary internet files too. Or get and run ccleaner and run that. http://www.ccleaner.com/download

Also check the "BHO" on your browser. A friend of mine got inffected with something similar, that alerts of a virus, scann the pc and shows lots of spyware. When you click clean,it redirects you to their website to make you buy fake antivirus. After researching a bit,i mannually got rid of it,but there was a BHO (browser helper object/addons) that was nasty.
Good luck

Removing tough virus requires courage

There is plenty of sites which provide help and info on how to handle situations such as yours.

If you google, you will find this:

Checking for/Help with Hijackware

http://aumha.org/a/quickfix.htm

When all else fails, HijackThis v2.0.2
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.exe) is the preferred tool to use (in
conjuction with some other utilities). HijackThis will NOT fix anything on
its own, but it will help you to both identify and remove any
hijackware/spyware with assistance from an expert. **Post your log to

http://castlecops.com/forum67.html, or other appropriate forums for review
by an expert in such matters, not here.**

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.

If you tried all kinds of solutions and nothing work or if you give up, there is always * last resort: reformat your computer.

Good luck!

removing tough virus requires spybot

download and run spybot, download the updates, run, fix selected problems and then immunize.
then download ncleaner and clean system. careful copy any files out of My Received Files though as ncleaner wipes these by default, although that can be changed in the settings.
hope this helps
