How do i use Net Tools 5.0

Can anyone help me with this?

Lets say that i am talking to someone on MSN Messenger, how do i get his/her IP or Host name?

I've been searching youtube for tutorials but no one seem to have any good info, so could someone please help me?

The old way was from command prompt. type in "netstat -an" look at the active connections. Then send a large file, like a pic to the other computer. While sending the file do the netstat -an again, the new ip should be it. I don't know if that still works though.
Or look in your firewall connections and send the file.
