Key Loggers and Remote Control

I need some answers.
My friend is an IT manager for a large school.
I am thinking that my friend has somehow installed a key logger or a remote control access like LogMeIn on my computer. How would I know if this has been done? what would I look for? I am a novice with computers
Thank you

If it were logmein, a small window will open up if your comp were being accessed. He could have installed something else like a keylogger/trojan. Try this scan, http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/ax/
If it doesn't work try google for online virus scan. Kaspersky, trend micro, bit defender are all good.
Make sure you have a firewall, comodo is a good one. http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/
