I recently discovered Ghost Mail. How anonymous does it make me, if at all?

ghostmail is supposedly an anonymous remailer. i tried it on myself but the mail never came...

raritan it's not totaly anonymous u might get traced but its a hard job because the man who would try to trace u would have to requset about __ (enter num here) logs from difrent servers but it can be done ....

yes there was riot and * more,the 2nd is down i suppose,i never got mail frm it.,
it might take time to go through the various anonymous remailers,more over crypto and decryption has to be done all the way.

To answer my original question about Ghost Mail, I posted a letter to myself at Excite and, when I showed all headers, there was my isp as big as life.

From what I recall about that program you have to use an anonymous smtp server before it will be completely anonymous.

There is a way to send eMails absolutely anonymous.
The administrator would not be able to trace you back.

I wont tell it in public...cause I dont want it every wannabe hacker or whatever to use it or abuse it.

I don't know what you put in the "server" part.

It's easy. Just using VPN or socks. And you're anonymous. For example - a VPN connection and a chain of socks5 servers which are usually hacked or trojanned boxes. And you're fucking anonymous.

Hey Symantec and McAfee are both updated to include Ghost Mail as a trojan because it is often used for malicious purposes. However, Ghostmail does NOT pose any threat to YOUR computer whatsoever.
