    Linksys Firewall/router

After about 2 months of constant useage my linksys fire/wall router (model befsx4*) i stopped gettng thoughtput. When i went to to check my systems i noticed the smell of scorched plastic. After closer inspection i had "burnout" the firewall. Anyone ever have experience with such a situation? linksys agreed to replace the unit without any questions, thought i do have to pay for shipping to their replacement location.

Most probably it is just a routine failure of an electronic device. Maybe because of overheating, due to high external air temperature or maybe a system fan failure if there is one.
