I am using a high anonymous proxy, I used to change it periodically however no matter what I do, even unchecking the use proxy server box will not change the server, what have I done ?

It's hard to tell ... Are you using some sort of utility that changes proxy servers in your browser, or you manually go the browser options to change the proxy server? If it's the former, then you should contact the guys that make the utility. If it's the latter ... you're saying that you uncked the "use proxy" box, but your browser still uses a proxy server? How do you know that?
