Is there any posibbility to connect my email client (Outlook, Eudora, The bat ...) through a proxy server. Does POP* accepts http proxies e.g. 80, **28, 8080 etc.

I do not want to send the emails using the proxy. I want my email client to connect and collect my emails using an external proxy.
